A Bit about Our Owner

Mike Wade is one of the most active and inquisitive bait and tackle owners in the Westerly area. Throughout the seasons, he employs consultants, or expert anglers, on a short-term basis (usually for four hours at a time) to assist our customers. "It's very unique in the industry," Mike says. "It's like a guide service."

Our consultants offer suggestions on how to run your boat more efficiently and how to get in and out of places safely. Mike is intimately familiar with the places he directs our customers to fish, and enjoys sending visitors out to locales that are mere minutes away. He knows of hundreds of spots for fishing enthusiasts to explore including:
